Purgaven is a visual novel about Åke, a swedish art student that goes to Russia to flee his problems, even tho it won't get better. He will meet Olezka, a priest of a secluded church that will provide him help and care. Although it will also be the start of a fall into the abyss for Åke...

This my first project so I'm really excited to share it.

Since it's only the demo, only the prologue and chapter 1 are featured. The rest of the story will come out as chapters.

(A save is in the game but it's an accident don't mind it)

hello it's me i'm . okay HI hi let me gather my thoughts.

the mood is AMAZING for starters. i love this vibe, the way it's colourful but also feels heavy, the contrast on colours and also of shadows. looks SO good and interesting.

i was hooked from the start i'm ngl. the shift to the black and white was AWESOME it was so different from the rest and super eyecatching.

Olezka... his sprites in particular were so so good yeah consider me unsettled /pos. Loved that introduction, the choice on music too. so SO cool i cannot believe it ended there i fear i might go crazy.
